No, that's the dems snarky way to try to say they are the only ones who democratically elect their leaders, when all parties democratically elect their leaders.
Typical Dem comment: "Don't use the N word you stupid redneck"

Grammar, not syntax, for sheesh's sake.
"Republican" can be a noun or an adjective. "Democrat" is just a noun. You clowns may think you can reinvent history, but please don't even try to reinvent the English language.
You sound stupid saying it, you look stupid writing it, and frankly, it contributes fantastically to the image of the Republicans as the Party of Stupid.
Seriously, knock yourselves out.
> get all upset when you don't say "Democrat" party,
You misinterpret pointing and laughing with "upset".

Actually, the grammatically-incorrect term "Democrat Party" as an attempted slur goes back to McCarthy.
Seems to me that the Greater Whining Republican Pussy Party can dish for 60 years, but can't take even one little bit.
Pickel nobrains blithered: Not really. Democrat Bill Owens defeated Conservative Doug Hoffman (and disgraced ex-Alaska Governor Sarah Palin) in the heavily Republican 23rd congressional District in rural northern New York. End of sweep.
Hoffman, who's a normal conservative, Republican Party platform candidate, wasn't even in it a month ago. Sarah Palin endorsed him and he shot up in the polls so fast that he knocked out the Republican RINO; which was the whole point in the first place. It was a long shot, and there was the danger of the vote-split which really did make the difference in the final vote. But, Hoffman only lost by only 4% and he wasn't even a candidate about 30 days ago. There was no primary, (as per the N.Y. state election laws with regard to special elections) and therefore a further disadvantage to Hoffman.
The chosen (by the Republican RINO chairmen of the N.Y. 23rd district) Republican RINO candidate was endorsed by Daily Kos and ACORN. It was a victory to knock her out of the race and send a message to the "McCains" of the Republican party.
The Republican RINO dropped-out and then endorsed, Owens, the Democrat candidate. Owens had been campaigning for a good long time with big money and Democrat machine backing.
Also, this same seat is up for reelection next year in the 2010 mid-term elactions. We'll see how long Owens holds on to this seat.
Plus, the 23rd district of N.Y. isn't conservative, just Republican. The former Rep, (who was there for decades) who left office when he was appointed by Obama, (causing the special election in question) to Secretary of the Army wasn't a conservative, (Obama wouldn't appoint a real conservative to anything). That's why Obama opened this seat up (by pulling the Republican incumbent) for a Democrat run by Owens; it was a toss-up district without the "power of incumbency" by the former, non-conservative Republican.
The botom line: endorsing a Conervative Party candidate was absolutely the right thing to do, regardless of the risk of outcome.
Sarah Palin and Dick Armey. etc., intend to do this (back the conservative in the Republican primaries) in many districts thoughout, in the 2010 mid-term elections. The Tea Partyers, Town Hall Meetingers, and Christians will be asstisting in a grass roots-like effort. Michael Steele, and therefore the RNC, will be backing this long overdue strategy. Oh and don't forget FOX and conservative radio.
Sir...the Teabaggers chose the name for themselves. Out of respect, I refer to them as they themselves chose to be known.
I wrote:
No they didn't, moron. It's "tea party", not "teabaggers". Teabagging is a porn term made popular by the HOB comedy series, "Curb Your Enthusiasm". "Teabaggers" is a name that's used in a derogatory manner by the petty, left wing communist media commentators, because the left wing (that would be you) fears "the people."
VA- Governor, Lt. Governor and AG, all Republican wins by huge margins.
N.J.- As "blue" a state as it gets: Republican wins the Governor's race and is "out-spent" by the Democrat by 4 to 1.
Tuesday in Maine: gay "marriage" loses by a 53% slam.
Gay "marriage", subject to the popular vote: Thirty one states have voted, gay "marriage" loses in ALL thirty one.
As I've been posting, the polls say that "Independents" favor Republicans by at least 2 to 1. Who do you think put these races over the top?

McCarthy was the biggest American hero of the 20th century.

Who's whining now? Could it be you?
If you pointed someone out and said "He's a Republic", you get a quizzical look. If you pointed someone out and said "He's a Republican", they would know exactly what you meant.

Republicans belong to the Republican Party. Democrats belong to the Democrat Party.

Wow.
Not only do you not know the difference between a noun and an adjective, you're perfectly OK with braying it to the world.
But then, pandering to the ignorant is something the Republican party has down to a fine art.

The English language is mutating every single day.
One of my pet peeves was the use of the word "funner". One day, to my shock and dismay, it was pointed out to me that that damn corruption of the English language was now included in the dictionary. ARRRGH
What's so radical about morphing "democrat" into use as both a noun and an adjective?
It's just another instance of how the language changes over time.

Why so defensive about it? Don't you have a sense of humor?
