Cream Horns (AKA Lady Locks)
| |
I don't eat a lot of sweets, but have a craving for some chocolate eclairs from the fridge section of bakery where Rich's can usually be found (I guess they dropped the "Rich's from the freezer" slogan). No such luck. Creme horns were right next to that empty space. So I got those for nostalgic reasons. Yep - I remember these from 20 years ago:... more »

Kitchen fire!

Kitchen fire! To test the chimney I burned a few pages of paper records/bills. Didn't back down into the house so I added a years worth of records on top of that. It has happened to me and I don't think the person it happened to recently expected to see a real name here either. When people use their real names in private communication,... more »

| |
YAY!! Our D-I-L owns a tavern/restaurant which she is closing for the holiday & preparing a (Prime Rib) dinner & trimmings for her family & her partner's family. Cool!! Gonna be good to be a guest for once! Talk about open bar! (Of course, it's open to me anytime, tho). Industrial dishwasher, lots of room, good times. All the kids can run around without... more »
