You need to specify half or full. I have commercial sheets too, but they are half sheets.

With that much butter and sugar, it *has* to be good ;-)

G'day Cheryl,
Thanks very much for that quick response! And for the recipe. :-)
As a matter of interest, I went looking for the "real" NM recipe when I discovered I'd lost the version posted here. I've appended a copy of the recipe I found at the Neiman Marcus web site. You will see that it has a few differences, mainly in that flour/oatmeal component, but also in sugar and in those small "additives". The NM version makes only two dozen cookies, i.e. a bit less than a quarter of the yield of your version, but it uses as much as half the quantity of some ingredients, and there are some variations of ingredients too.

Ingredients 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened 1 cup light brown sugar 3 tablespoons granulated sugar 1 large egg 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 1-3/4 cups all purpose flour 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 1-1/2 teaspoons instant espresso coffee powder 1-1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions 1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Cream the butter with the sugars using an electric mixer on medium speed until fluffy (approximately 30 seconds) 2. Beat in the egg and the vanilla extract for another 30 seconds. 3. In a mixing bowl, sift together the dry ingredients and beat into the butter mixture at low speed for about 15 seconds. Stir in the espresso coffee powder and chocolate chips. 4. Using a 1 ounce scoop or a 2 tablespoon measure, drop cookie dough onto a greased cookie sheet about 3 inches apart. Gently press down on the dough with the back of a spoon to spread out into a 2 inch circle. Bake for about 20 minutes or until nicely browned around the edges. Bake a little longer for a crispier cookie. Yield: 2 dozen cookies

G'day Stu,
Thanks for your response and the recipe below. As I mentioned elsewhere in reply to Cheryl, I found this one last night too (on the Neiman Marcus web site).
Cheryl was able to supply a copy of the recipe that was originally in this thread (in its former incarnation). It is quoted in my reply to her, along with a copy of this "real" NM cookie recipe so people can have a squiz at the differences between the two.

112 biscuits sounds ok to me :-)

It looks like someone doctored the other one to their specs, I've used the original for a few years now, it's yummy ;)
