4. She married a professional snowmoble distance racer, and they have a happy marriage where they respect each other and can keep up with each other.
5. Seeing above guys realize they lost out with her but at least they didn't lose out to some weenie.
So she's smart, tough, and accomplished professionally as well as being attractive. What's not to like?

You are aware, aren't you, that people at a certain income level (and I include myself in that group) simply don't think about the cost of food. I buy what I want, and don't look at the price for things like milk, eggs, flour, and other staples. I barely know what the price of meat is, although if I notice that something is on sale, I might buy one or two extras and freeze them.

Since I am in a different place entirely, no "marketing" is being done. She is tall, fit, confident and black. It seems to me that last one is your problem. You don't apply the same criteria to people of different backgrounds. Asian women don't look like Palin either. I don't look like Palin. Looking like an American cheerleader isn't really the criterium for beauty in this world. As a matter of fact, we'll all be a lot better off if you apply NO criteria to how women look. It only matters with the one you are attached to.
