I upgraded my son's PC from Vista to Windows 7 32 bit - I really should have upgraded to 64 bit. Is it too late now? Can I some how still upgrade/change my current setup to 64 bit? or I'm done for it? mac

SLA battery leak

I have a 4 year old UPS that uses SLA (sealed lead acid) batteries. I opened it up to take a look at the batteries, since it's probably about time to replace them, and noticed that one of them has a bit of substance leaking from the edges. Would that substance contain lead, and how dangerous would it be to handle the battery?... more »

First thing that happened (not long after warranty expired) is that the sound card died. Got around that with an external USB sound card. THen my grandson pulled the DVD drawer out, and I replaced it with upgraded DVDR/W. Maybe a month after that, Windows XP Pro stopped working in normal mode. I just finished removing the rust on the back plane of an old ATX case, and would like to apply a layer of protective paint on it to prevent future rusting! Does the following work? Have a Dell laptop that is acting a little odd. After installing the OS and everything I learn that the drivers are supposed to be installed in a particular order. Has anyone dealt with this issue? Thanks.
